DevBuddy

Legal

Privacy policy.

The short version: we collect what you type into the contact form, our host keeps standard server logs, our analytics are cookieless, and nothing here builds a profile of you.

Who is responsible

DevBuddy S.A.S. ("DevBuddy", "we"), based in Medellín, Colombia, operates this website. Anything about this policy or your data: info@devbuddy.io. A person replies within one business day.

What we collect, and why

The contact form: your name, email address, the topic you pick, and your message. We use it for exactly one thing — answering you. Legal basis: your consent, given by pressing Send.

Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., USA) automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

Nothing else. No accounts, no newsletter, no advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain.

We count visits with Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — both cookieless. They aggregate page views, referrers, country, device type and performance metrics without storing identifiers in your browser and without building personal profiles.

Your acknowledgement of the cookie notice is stored in your browser's local storage (a timestamp, nothing about you), so we don't nag you twice.

If we ever add cookie-based tracking, this policy and the notice change first, and consent is asked before anything runs.

Who processes your data

Vercel Inc. (USA) hosts the website. Contact-form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-delivery service, and then handled by our team. We don't sell personal data and we don't share it beyond these processors.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as the conversation is relevant, and deleted on request.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for correction or deletion, and withdraw consent at any time via info@devbuddy.io.

As a Colombian company, DevBuddy handles personal data under Ley 1581 de 2012 (habeas data) and its decrees. Clients and visitors in the European Economic Area additionally have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to complain to their local supervisory authority. Caribbean visitors have the rights of their local data-protection law.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
